Hello, I’m Nicola, I’m a Hertfordshire-based civil Wedding and Funeral Celebrant with a background in the arts, teaching and social work. I’ve spent my career helping people to make meaningful moments and beautiful experiences that they’ll remember forever.

I am a fully qualified and inclusive celebrant who is passionate about celebrating life’s milestones.

It is an honour and a privilege to officiate over your important life events. Whether you’re celebrating a new addition to the family, marrying the love of your life, or saying goodbye to someone you love, the ceremonies I create are driven by your individual values, beliefs and wishes.

With three decades of experience in creative writing, theatre and public speaking, I am a confident and creative storyteller. I will write your love story or a life story with the greatest of care and create a ceremony that captures the essence of you, that is unique, unforgettable and authentic.

What makes me unique is my background in education and the arts. I have the experience and ability to ‘hold that space’ for you. I am compassionate, an active listener, and will strive to make your ceremony really special by reflecting your wishes, entwining your stories, readings and music to create a memorable ceremony. I will work closely with you and offer as much, or as little guidance as required; I will deliver your ceremony in a style that is highly personalised and appropriate for your occasion. I feel equally at home conducting ceremonies in traditional and non-traditional spaces.
